Cycling in Dublin in print | Distribution | Past experience | Help fund it | PDF | FAQ
I’m a freelance journalist who has written a good deal about cycling — including covering the planned DublinBikes expansion, the country’s most useless cycle lanes, bicycle traffic lights, high-vis vs high heels, automatic bicycle counters, cycle routes, and on-the-spot fines for cyclists.
My experience with printed publications includes the whole process from design concepts to distribution. While studying journalism at DCU and BCFE, I excelled at newspaper design and, at DCU, my thesis was on redesigning The Irish Times as a tabloid/compact sized paper. I edited two student publications, a magazine and a newspaper, and was heavily involved in writing, editing, designing and taking photographs for another newspaper.
The Cycling in Dublin newspaper will also be sub-edited by somebody experienced in proof reading for errors of all kinds.
